jersey (my uncle's!). crop top (originally from charlotte but this one is similar). leggings. sneakers. sunglasses (similar).

Hello, hello! Boston seems to have finally figured itself out, and it looks like the sunshine’s here to stay! Unfortunately, I overestimated the temperature, and was a little chilly in this outfit. At least I looked cute!

I started with this cute white crop top that I found in my closet! I’ve always loved it, but as always, I forgot it even existed. It reminds me of the crop top Cheryl Blossom wears in the car race episode of Riverdale. This top looks adorable with my high-waisted leggings.

I also wore this super cool Grateful Dead baseball jersey that used to be my Uncle Johnny’s, and my white Converse. I wore my hair half-up-half-down, since it was yucky and still full of hairspray for the weekend. I also ditched the makeup today because I wasn’t feeling it.

I’m so excited that I can finally wear clothes like this again! Time for lots more risk-taking and colors other than black :’)

sorority sunday: read my lips

shirt (my design but this is the actual shirt). bralette. leggings. red converse. white converse. perfume

Happy Sorority Sunday! I’m so pumped to share this look with you all! This is what I wore to my sorority’s retreat, which was super chill. I loved getting to spend the extra time with my sisters, especially since my time in college is coming to an end! I know sisterhood is forever, but it still makes me sad. We had our formal last night and it was so amazing.

Anyway, this shirt is near and dear to my heart because I made it! I was making another tee and accidentally bought a youth sized shirt, so I turned it into a crop top. I didn’t mean to cut it this short, but I love it. I love how you can see my bralette peeking through the bottom! This top would look great with a longer bralette. I designed the lips and words on Canva, then printed it on transfer paper, and ironed it onto the shirt! It’s such a hassle buying custom sorority merch sometimes, and if you know exactly what you want, it’s 100% worth it to make your own shirts. I made another that I’ll share eventually ;)

This look would be nothing without my high-waisted leggings, and my different colored Converse. I couldn’t decide which color to wear, so I chose both! Some people stared, but I was having a good time. A little girl on the T was amazed.

I’m so happy I can share this look with you guys! Stay tuned for some awesome looks coming this week!

Hey Arnold!

Outfit of the DayKristenComment

shirt (no longer being sold at Primark). leggings. boots. lipgloss (in sanctuary).

Hey Arnold! was one of my favorite shows growing up! When I saw this shirt while I was on line at Primark, I knew immediately that I had to have it. I bought the biggest size that was there and put it on as soon as I got home. I get so many compliments on this shirt! It’s a cute little reminder of our childhood.

You all know I love oversized stuff, so I love wearing this shirt. I always wear it with leggings, but I usually change up the shoes. On this particular evening I wore my black Timberlands, but usually I wear my black Converse, or these black high-tops I got from Primark a couple years ago. They’re so cute, but the soles are cracking. My hair always depends, too! Usually I’ll wear it down, but on bad hair days (like this one!) I may wear it half-up, half-down.

I also wore my Kat Von D lip color! This look would obviously look great with a neutral makeup look, but I also really like when I wear a dark lip color, especially if I’m wearing it out. I love that I can style all the components of this look differently and it’s always awesome, mostly because of how cool the shirt is. Not to mention it’s so comfortable and soft! What was your favorite show growing up? Let me know in the comments!

not your mother's all eyes on me 10-in-1 hair perfector

Cruelty-Free, Beauty, Beauty Review, SponsoredKristenComment

Hello hello hello! It’s Thursday and I am so tired from finals and all the other ~fabulous~ things life has thrown at me, but I’m also so excited to share this product with you all! Influenster just sent me a bunch of cool stuff to try in exchange for reviews, and this first one is definitely one of my favorites.

You all know how much I love my hair, but I don’t think I’ve ever talked about just how difficult it is to keep up with sometimes. My hair is Rapunzel-long, which I love! But it’s also very thick and tangles very easily. Sometimes just running a brush through my hair is a workout.

Enter Not Your Mother’s All Eyes on Me 10-in-1 Hair Perfector. That’s certainly a mouthful, and definitely sounds too good to be true. This spray claims to add body, strengthen, detangle, moisturize, add shine, control frizz, repair dry hair, act as a heat protectant, mend split ends, and seal cuticles. How can a spray do all of these things?!

I don’t know, but it does! This thing is a legitimate miracle product. You just spritz it in your hair when you get out of the shower and comb it through. It started working almost immediately. I went to my boyfriend’s after I got out of the shower, and he couldn’t stop touching my hair.

I’ve noticed such a difference in my hair since I’ve started using it regularly. Usually when I come out of the shower I just towel dry my hair and let it exist in unbrushed waves for a while, which I still do, but my hair looks less of a ~grungy~ unbrushed mess and more of just cute, beachy waves. And you guys, my hair is literally the softest it’s ever been.

I very highly recommend this product, not just because of how well it works, but also because it’s cruelty-free! I’m so lucky to have received this product, and I can’t wait for you all to try it. Let me know if you love it as much as I do in the comments!

top. bralette. flannel (my dad's!). leggings. timberlands

Hello hello! This look is another product of a half-cold, half-warm day. I put on this Serengetee top because I love the floral pattern on the pocket. It reminds me of happy, tropical times in the sun instead of bundling up to take a walk to the supermarket. Its colors looked really great with my electric blue flannel! I also wore my high-waisted leggings, bralette, and lighter Timberlands.

I kept my makeup light and put my hair up in a braided ponytail because my hair was not cooperating. I have a bunch of hairstyles that I automatically flock to when my hair looks horrible, and this is one of my favorites. Most of them involve braids. I was thinking of making a how-to post about all of them, so if you’d be interesting in reading something like that, let me know!

I really love this look though, and it’s one I definitely wanna wear more. In general, if there’s something you guys want to see or read, feel free to let me know in the comments, or send me an email or DM! I’d love to hear from you!!!

Thankfully, it looks like the nicer weather is here to stay, at least for a little bit. Fingers crossed!
