Brace yourselves: I’m not wearing black leggings.

Don’t worry, I haven’t (completely) lost my mind, I’m just trying to switch things up a bit! I’m always on here complaining about things I have that I love but never wear, so I decided to actually do something about that and wear these adorable funky pants that an ex got me as a birthday present. I may have bad taste in boys, but they have great taste in presents!

Usually I wear these leggings with a black crop top, but this time I wore a bodysuit, and I really loved the way it looked. I’ve actually never worn these pants with black boots before either, so I was really pleasantly surprised.

I topped this look off with my new denim jacket, which I’ve been absolutely obsessed with since I got it. I’ll spare you the details and profess my love for it in another post.

And last but not least, I wore my round Sunice sunglasses that I’m also obsessed with. I thought I lost them the other day and almost cried.

Hopefully, you’ll be seeing a lot more patterned pants around here. Where do you buy funky pants? Let me know in the comments!

Hello, my beautiful readers! I just wanted to take a sec to thank you all for continuing to support me for so long :’) Sometimes it’s hard to believe that that there are actually people listening to/reading what I have to scream into the void of the interwebs, and I truly appreciate it. So thanks :)

Anyway, I really hope that you guys like this look as much as I do. Every now and then, I just pull stuff together and it ~works~. This was one of those times! Emerson had their very first free music festival this year, so I dropped by for a bit to see Bleachers and hung out with my sisters for a bit! I had a really great time.

I’ve actually never been to a music festival before, but I knew that I needed to look cute. Most people that go to music festivals wear crop tops and flower crowns (at least it seems so from Instagram), so I decided to wear my white crop top.

Since it was raining a bit, I wore my black leggings, which are a little high-waisted, so they looked bomb with the top. To dress things down a bit, I wore this grey sweatshirt I just stole from my mom. It’s ridiculously comfy. Thanks Ma!

This day was also one of the only days I wore makeup this summer. Sometimes I just need to take some time to get all dolled up and feel my best (at least that’s what makes me feel my best), even if I end up sweating all my makeup off later. My hair had a cute lil curl to it since it was in a bun for most of the day.

One of my favorite parts of this look is my backpack! I got it from dELiA*s way back, and it’s perfect for carrying medium amounts of stuff. Sometimes, I have trouble finding bags that are big enough to hold a good amount of things, like my phone, wallet, umbrella, and other stuff I need for whatever I’m doing, but not too big that all my stuff is swimming. This backpack has compartments, and it’s big enough to hold everything I need for those medium-sized days. I just love backpacks in general because they’re hands-free and convenient (at least for me), but they can so easily get too beat up or school-y. This backpack is navy and completely lace, which is just so cute. It looked awesome with the rest of my look.

To top it off, I wore my white Converse to match my top, and wore Katy Perry’s Indi perfume. Did you know she has a new fragrance coming out?! Stay tuned!

Do you like music festivals? Which is your favorite? Comment below!

Sweatshirt (I think Target maybe?). Jeans. Boots (no longer being told at Primark). Jacket (similar). Hat. Sunglasses (similar).

So, I guess this is a little bit of a Sorority Sunday. This morning, I participated with my sorority in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Boston! I love participating in this walk because fighting breast cancer is extremely important to me, since my grandma died of it before I was born.

Obviously, I wanted to show my support for fighters through my outfit. I started with my black jeans, which were heavy, but I still wore stockings underneath since it was pretty chilly today and we were walking by the water. I wore a tank top, that I tucked into my jeans, and a Support the Cure sweatshirt that’s a little short on me, but it looks cute. I finished it off with my varsity jacket, which was nice and warm!

At first, I had my hair in my half-up-half-down look. However, when I put my beanie on to cover my ears and represent my ~school pride~, there was a weird bump on top of my head from my ponytail holder. I looked like a triceratops. So, I took my greasy hair down and hid it with my beanie. I completed my look with bright pink lipstick and my boots!

Oh, Jesus. I am so sorry, you guys. I’ve gone completely off the grid. You see, college is very fun, especially when you’re involved in so much on campus. Unfortunately, that sometimes means you have to sacrifice other things, such as sleeping, eating, and blogging. On top of this transition being relatively sudden, my computer also decided to crap out, making it ten times more difficult to upload photos. Thankfully, I found a loophole, and I will hopefully be back on a decent posting schedule soon.

Today’s look was one of my favorites, and I kinda pulled it together by accident! I wore the shorts during the day, but I wanted to change my shirt, so I wore my Tilly’s boy shirt. I tucked it in because why not and it actually looked super cute! Since it was a bit chilly outside and I didn’t plan on bringing a bag, I wore this cute jacket that also has pockets. I love this jacket so much. Then, I finished everything with black Converse to go with my darker tones.

The cute little bow to pull this look together would be my high messy bun. I think it ties the different levels together really well. Here I go again with levels…

Otherwise, my jewelry was normal. This was relatively simple, but I really like it. I think I love my looks more when I think about them less.

For the record, my room doesn’t look like this anymore. This photo was taken a while ago, when I still wasn’t completely set up. I still have a few finishing touches, but it looks super cute now.

New Year New Room!

Hello hello! In addition to another look I’ve got for y’all today, I also have a change of scenery! Yay! This is my new room that isn’t completely set up yet. I have so much to do at school so it’s difficult to actually get my shit together. Baby steps!

I've got another look for you guys today that's relatively simple, but super cute. I started off with my black shorts and a white T shirt, since we all know, you can never go wrong with a plain white T. I tucked it in because when do I not? I thought it looked really cute. I love the straight tucked in look, but I also love leaving a bit of slouchy fabric as well.

Next, I added my white Converse so the colors were like a little sandwich. Since it’s been a little bit chilly in Boston, I threw on my favorite varsity jacket that matched my neutral vibes, and tied it all together with my bright pink Send Help hat, once again. It adds a really cool pop of color, like it did with my little black dress and kimono outfit.

Also, I wore my rounded sunglasses, but I forgot to put them in the photo, which makes me sad, but I'm getting through it I promise.

My jewelry, hair, and makeup were normal! Maybe I'd wear this with a choker if I wore it again. This look made me feel super cute and bubbly.
