What’s up cutie patooties? Tired of quarantine yet? I miss seeing my friends more than anything. Whether it’s hitting up some bars, going to house parties, or just getting brunch, I miss seeing their smiling faces and giving them lots of hugs.

Here’s an outfit I love to wear to social gatherings. As soon as I bought this snakeskin top and leather skirt at H&M, I knew they’d be a dream team. They just look so badass together!

Of course, I always have to wear my KVD Vegan Beauty Everlasting Liquid Lipstick with this look (by the way, if you’re following along on my Instagram, I ended up buying three more tubes), but I like to switch up my shoes. I wore my thigh-high boots to my birthday party, which looked adorable, but I had to keep pulling them up the entire night, which was annoying. I wore my black Timberlands to the New Year’s Eve party my family threw, honestly because I wasn’t trying to get drunk and fall down in front of all my parents’ friends. Priorities! Of course, my black heels are a ride or die and probably look the best out of all of them.

I’m so excited to take this look out for a spin when we’re allowed out of our houses. What are you most looking forward to when quarantine is over?

Happy Hump Day, my lovely readers! Here’s a look I’ve been holding onto for a while. Last semester, I went to a Met Gala pajama party. Yup, you read that right. The theme was essentially fancy loungewear. Since I was actually a huge fan of the look I went with, I wanted to share it with you all.

True to my style, I kept things pretty grungy. I got this slip to wear to my 20th birthday party, and wore my black tights because ya girl was freezing. My flannel kind of acted like a wrap. I loved the way it looked with the dress! I wore my black Timberlands and dark lipstick, then partied the night away.

I looooove theme parties! It’s so fun to get creative and go all out with your look. Obviously, I love to play dress-up. The birthday party that I wore this slip to originally was 1920s themed, and my apartment threw an awesome 1970s party last year. I showed up to a Paris-themed mixer dressed as a French fry to find that my Little had done the same! That’s some sorority magic in my opinion.

What’s the best theme party you’ve been to, and what did you wear? Let me know in the comments!

top & skirt (no longer being sold by Mystique Boutique NYC). sandals (no longer being sold by Payless). perfume

Happy Monday! It’s finally summer for me, and I’m having a blast taking a breath before life starts to settle in again. For now, I’m enjoying sleeping in and not worrying about assignments I need to turn in.

A couple weeks ago, my roommates and I threw a Hogwarts Yule Ball themed party, so everyone dressed up! This is one of my favorite fancy outfits, and I wear is as often as I can. I bought it to wear to Celebrity Night my senior year of high school :’) The skirt is so flouncy and flirty, and it goes perfectly with this top. It’s super bright, but that’s what makes it so unique. I love the slit in the chest. I posted the gold version of these sandals a couple days ago! I love them because they’re fancy, but the heels aren’t too high, so my feet don’t hurt.

And now for my favorite part, my ponytail! I love working my hair into a high, tight, slicked-back ponytail. This outfit definitely calls for one. I don’t think I’ve ever worn this outfit with my hair not in a ponytail. Maybe I’ll make a blog post about how to make the perfect pony soon ;) I also had a lot of fun with my makeup! I contoured and highlighted more than usual and got fancy with lots of gold eyeshadow.

This is one of my all-time favorite outfits! It makes me feel great. The party was amazing, and I got tons of compliments on my outfit and the Hogwarts House-themed cupcakes i made. I’m a Hufflepuff! Let me know what house you are in the comments!

Hey Arnold!

shirt (no longer being sold at Primark). leggings. boots. lipgloss (in sanctuary).

Hey Arnold! was one of my favorite shows growing up! When I saw this shirt while I was on line at Primark, I knew immediately that I had to have it. I bought the biggest size that was there and put it on as soon as I got home. I get so many compliments on this shirt! It’s a cute little reminder of our childhood.

You all know I love oversized stuff, so I love wearing this shirt. I always wear it with leggings, but I usually change up the shoes. On this particular evening I wore my black Timberlands, but usually I wear my black Converse, or these black high-tops I got from Primark a couple years ago. They’re so cute, but the soles are cracking. My hair always depends, too! Usually I’ll wear it down, but on bad hair days (like this one!) I may wear it half-up, half-down.

I also wore my Kat Von D lip color! This look would obviously look great with a neutral makeup look, but I also really like when I wear a dark lip color, especially if I’m wearing it out. I love that I can style all the components of this look differently and it’s always awesome, mostly because of how cool the shirt is. Not to mention it’s so comfortable and soft! What was your favorite show growing up? Let me know in the comments!

As you all know, I like to be just a ~little~ bit extra most of the time. So, when my friends and I are going out and I'm told be dress casually, I kind of freak out. For me, party mode means getting super dolled up and looking hot to have fun! Thankfully, I found an outfit that makes me feel flirty and ready for fun while also making sure that I'm not doing too much.

This outfit was the first time I wore this shirt, which I got from my cousin. Like my red one, it has a little bit of an open back and is relatively low cut, which I loved. I know you can't really tell from the selfie, but the bralette looks amazing with the shirt! I wore my jeans because I was trying to be ~casual~, and they looked good, which was a surprise. In true casual fashion, I wore my Converse (which are nice and clean now since I got new ones!).

Because this shirt was so low-cut, I wore a choker. When I wear chokers, I usually put my hair up, but I'm happy I left it down. I think this look is like girl-next-door, but with a bit of an elevated twist. My makeup is normal, as well as the rest of my jewelry. I can't wait until it gets nicer again so I can wear this out without freezing my ass off!
