shirt (i think it's armani?). shorts. sneakers. perfume

Happy Friday! Here’s to hoping that the sun will make an appearance soon. This look is another product of Boston’s weird weather! I never know how to dress since it’s not necessarily cold, but there’s a bit of a breeze and no sun. I’ve always loved the long-sleeves and shorts combo, even though some people aren’t a fan. I feel like it just makes sense in weather like this.

This is one of my favorite cozy shirts! I tucked it into my denim shorts and then pulled some out until I liked how slouchy it was. I either like big, slouchy shirts, or tight crop tops. No in-between. It’s kind of problematic.

I wore my dirty white Converse and INDI perfume, and left my hair wild because it’s summer :’) My whole outlook on life changes during the summertime. I’m so much more active and happy.

Have an amazing Pride weekend, my Boston friends! xoxo

sweatshirt. leggings. boots. lipgloss (in sanctuary).

I'm so excited to share this look with you guys! My parents have been making fun of me because I wear this outfit all the time. I got this Halsey sweatshirt for Christmas, and I fell in love. I originally asked for it so I could wear it as a dress, but it was a little too short. I ended up loving it as just a sweatshirt though! It's so soft and extra cozy because it's so big.

My black leggings are perfect to wear with this sweatshirt because they're just black and simple, like my Timbs. I love doing my makeup when I wear this look though! I usually go with my Kat Von D lipgloss and play with the colors in my Urban Decay NAKED3 palette. The rose gold colors look so great with this lip color!

Overall, I love this look because it makes me feel like a badass, like Halsey, but it's so comfy (and warm!) that I really feel like myself. Thus, I've named this look "Cozy Badass." To all my other cozy badasses out there, I hope you enjoy the rest of your week!

Star Crossed

You all know how much I love Halsey (and if you don't, check out this, this, and this), so for Christmas, I asked for a TON of merch from her latest tour. I got to see her for the third time in Boston on October 6th, and it was one of the greatest shows I've ever seen. I also adore her latest album, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, and the merch in her shop was just really freakin' cool. I was immediately obsessed with almost every piece.

This is one of the coolest tour shirts I've owned! I've never had a long-sleeved tour shirt before, and this one lists the dates down the arms instead of on the back, which I think is so unique and awesome. It leaves space for an awesome design on the back, that I totally should've taken a picture of. I love light, long-sleeved shirts like this. They're perfect for low-key looks like this!

These leggings are another Christmas addition! They're soooo comfortable. I love fleece-lined leggings because I live in the cold and I'm literally always in leggings (as you can tell from this blog), but sometimes they're just a little too heavy for the gym or Cheer practice. My mom got these from Francesca's, and they're super soft and fleece-lined, but not so fuzzy that I sweat. I really love them; the only drawback is that they're kinda see-through, so I have to be mindful of what underwear I wear with them!

I quite literally topped the look off with this "hopeless" hat from Halsey's store. Getting this hat to look good on me was a time. When I first put it on, it looked reeeeally weird on my head. The way the actual hat part was angled was just so different than a usual baseball hat. I sized it down to fit my small ass head, but it still looked kind of off. I was so upset because I love this hat! I sent a Snapchat to my sorority asking if they liked it or not, and God bless them, they told me to just bend the brim and it fixed it completely! That's why you rush, ladies. I'm still a little upset because I had to size it down so much that there's a weird strap flap on the back (say that ten times fast!), so it looks a little weird when I wear it backwards, but I could probably tuck it in.

My white Converse also made an appearance in this dark look! I don't know why I picked white over black; I didn't even really consider black. Sometimes things just look good for no reason.

Also, I was really proud of my makeup today. It's what I usually wear (with contour and eyeshadow now, hehe), but I took my time with it since I wasn't in too much of a rush and it just looked really good! I straightened my freshly-cut hair too, so I was just generally happy with how I looked today. As I always say, if you're wearing something that makes you feel good, then you will feel good!

Overall though, I think this is a really cute, laid-back look that I could definitely wear once it starts warming up! Oh Spring, where are you?!

I'm Wearing Pants?

Sweater (no clue I'm sorry). Jeans. Boots (no longer being sold at Primark).

We’ve got a simple look for today! I'm absolutely in love with this turtleneck! I'm disappointed that I haven't worn it a ton this winter. I chose to pair it with a simple pair of jeans. I know, I’M wearing jeans?! It's definitely weird, but I'm getting used to them. They're perfect for the cold weather that' occurs in Boston. I'm also wearing my long-sleeved Under Armour underneath my turtleneck and a pair of stockings under my jeans for maximum warmth. I threw on my typical Clunkster boots as well.

Makeup is relatively normal today, except I have weird red rings at the bottoms of my eyebrows because I did a hardcore tweezing this morning. I'm also very happy with the way my blush came out since it's been a bit wonky lately.

I put my hair in an excessively high pony since I do that when my hair looks gross, and because I absolutely love the way ponytails look with turtlenecks for some reason. Maybe it's one of my levels things, I don't know.

Anyway, I love this look, and I hope you'll be seeing more of this turtleneck in the future!
